Q2BOTS LAN in Sweden

Heya

Me legend and a few others are trying to organize a botslan in july. Nothing too big 10-20 members or something. Any of you are welcome to join but I doubt any of you will survive the jetlag!

In any case, I was wondering if anyone got any more of q2bots gameplay screenshot and preferably higher resolution than those posted on this site :) I've made a facebook group for the LAN and wanted to upload some pictures of the action. Either mail them to [e-mail] or upload them here on this site.

Update: A complete success is all I can say, in total we fittet in 16 computers in 2 relativly small rooms and we were around 20 players. Countless games were played and alot of pizza were consumed.

We also introduced 10 people to the game, unfortunatly no regular gamers but told us they had a lot of fun and most of them wanted another LAN sometime :)

I uploaded a few pictures of both game screenshots and LAN but nothing spectacular because I forgot my camera at home and to tell you the truth the only thing on everybodys mind was playing bots nonstop for as long as they could stand or sit. :)

Do you really have enough players out there to organize a LAN party?

Yea we do have enough easily for 4vs4 for a one time thing like a LAN. 80% of all attendes don't play actively anymore but everyone always enjoy a Q2bots LAN like back in the days. Hopefully some H&P members will show up like Ball, Bear, MrGib and such :)

We better discuss some house rules already so we wont argue during the lan like in the old days. XD

Only 1 player per class in a team. Don't want a whole team of snipers.

Damn awesome LAN! In total we were 18 people and our biggest game was 7vs8, maps like outback2 became irrelevant :P but it was nonstop fun. I will upload pictures as soon as I can and I strongly recommend you yanks organize something like this, for old time sake if nothing else, it's so worth it!
