Tastyspeen.com and TastySpleen Radio are featuring Battle of the Sexes this week on their Sunday Splatterfest. They are hosting the server listed below. It's running BotS right now actually, so you can connect at any point to make sure you are set for Sunday.

Not sure if any of you know about TastySpleen.com, but they are keeping the Quake II community alive and kicking. They host several great Quake II servers with various mods.

Once again, I'll be on around 6:30pm EST. If anyone needs help with anything, i will be on AIM (enroxj) and on the server (71.230.170.126:27910). I was hoping to get a config pack up before today, but it didn't turn out that way. Maybe I'll throw a quick one up when i get home, or just wait until this weekend.

But, we had a good time with Miyago, Moose, CH and me. I believe Miyago's brother was in there for part of it, but he was having compatibility/crashing issues. {{Hellfire}} also showed up right around 8:00 but only stayed for a few minutes.(he had a WoW raid to attend :P) We should have another server soon, courtesy of him.

i used WASD or maybe ESDF in Q2. I think the BotS configs were created as a standard default, meant for newbies to use the arrow keys.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Magnus on June 1, 2009 at 8:32pm: yea was a lot of fun just playing 2v2, my brother quake2 was acting weird but it was also high time to starting to fix the problem just as the game was suppose start and not sooner :) I believe there are a few graphic glitches with new machines and some Q2 commands but once he jumped into water, even in Software mode, his game crashed.

Oh and I have like 3-4 friends who are very eager and misses q2bots very much but because of the screwed up timezone (I should just say the time difference) they can only play on the weekends pretty much.; ▶ Reply to This
